It is with deep regret that the West Islip Fire Department announces that 29 year life member Ex-Captain Pat Lamberson of the Vanguard Engine Company has answered his last alarm.
Pat joined the West Islip Fire Department on October 7th, 1982 as a member of Mohawk Engine Company. He was appointed lieutenant of Vanguard Engine Company in April of 2005 and was elected to rank of company Captain in April of 2007. Upon purchasing a home in Pennsylvania, Pat furthered his firematic career by becoming a member of the Harford Fire Department.
Viewing will be Monday 7/25 from 2–4PM and 7-9PM at Chapey and Sons Funeral Home on Montauk Highway in West Islip with firematic service beginning at 8PM. A church mass will be held on Tuesday July 26th at St. Patrick’s Church on Montauk Highway in Bay Shore, time to be announced.
